Project Controls Implementation:

The Project Controls group provides integrated scheduling, cost controls, change management, training and safety reporting. JBL Consulting utilizes resource loaded schedules, earned value reporting, risk management and productivity analysis tools to assist our clients in successfully trending and forecasting their projects. Reports are customized to our client's specifications to enable complete understanding of current status and indicative trends. Timely data is necessary for effective decision making.

Resource Profiling:

Ensuring availability of competent manpower resources is imperative to the success of any project. JBL Consulting can assist in identifying the resources required for major projects, program profiles, and company or regional groups and divisions. This approach allows for pro-active manpower loading and productive utilization of manpower. Portraying manpower requirements for major projects company-wide provides quantitative data to make time-sensitive decisions on project start dates and provides a competitive edge for negotiating contracts with labor suppliers.

Tender Review:

An extra set of knowledgeable eyes from a non-biased third party can be advantageous prior to bid submission and during bid evaluation. Working with the tender team JBL Consulting provides recommendations on commercial, schedule, cost and risk areas. Preliminary due diligence prior to contract award minimizes areas that may cause potential claim.

Risk Analysis:

Competitive advantage is a necessity. JBL Consulting has the expertise to provide our client's team a fully interactional cost and/or schedule analysis on current projects and bids prior to submission utilizing Pertmaster. Enabling our clients to clearly identify the probabilities of completion dates, prepare for potential liquidated damages, and properly manage contingencies to remain compliant with SOX 404 sets the stage for a proactive approach to ensuring a successful project.

Cost and Schedule Review/Progressing:

JBL Consulting reviews the client's current schedules and cost tools templates for PMI and AACEI standards and best practices. Recommendations are then presented on proper forecasting, potential impacts and delays, critical path analysis, and a best path forward. Evaluation can either be at the project or company level. For the smaller projects that do not justify a full-time Project Controls employee, JBL Consulting can create, monitor and maintain the costs and schedule on an as-needed basis.
